Watercolour Workshops, Painting Holidays, Weekly Watercolour Courses tutored by Stephen Martyn

It's always a pleasure to meet new people and introduce them to the joy of watercolour painting, and of course, it's also great to renew old aquaintances. Whether you are a complete beginner or a more experienced artist I’m sure you will find something interesting and enjoyable among the following events. Throughout the year I lead a variety of workshops suitable for both beginners and more experienced artists. Workshop topics include watercolour painting, pen and wash, sketching and drawing.

My own workshops are held in various picturesque locations around the West Norfolk area. The 2010 season will start on Saturday and Sunday the 8th and 9th May, with a pen and wash workshop that will feature outdoor working (weather permitting) in both the picturesque village of Ringstead in West Norfolk, and on the nearby coast at Thornham.   More information.  Other workshops may well be added to the calendar, so please contact me to register your interest.

In the spring and summer, I am tutoring several workshops at  West Norfolk Arts Centre  at Castle Rising, near King's Lynn, Norfolk.

Weekly courses

For those living within reach of the West Norfolk area I tutor weekly watercolour courses at West Norfolk Arts Centre, Castle Rising, King’s Lynn.  A new term will commence in the autumn, on the 7th October 2010. For more information click here.

Walking and Painting holidays

Amble along picturesque footpaths, pausing to sketch and paint. These take place at Casa Ana, Ferreirola, in the Spanish Alpujarras, near Granada. A wonderful location in one of the most inspiring landscapes Spain has to offer.  You can find more information here.
