2008 Watercolour Painting Courses with Stephen Martyn. Weekly Watercolour Classes in Spring 2008 Commencing Thursday 10 January 2007 for nine weeks. 10.30am - 12.30pm. Price £99 Further improve your watercolours. A group aimed at those who have completed my beginners course, or others who want to work in a 'paint along with the tutor' format on a variety of subjects. In the spring term we will be basing our work on a study of some of the great masters of watercolour, including John Sell Cotman, and Edward Seago. Commencing Thursday 10 January 2007 for nine weeks. The format for the afternoon group will be the same as for the morning, but for those who wish to do so there is an opportunity to work on your own choice of subject, rather than that supplied by me. Summer Workshop Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 June 2008. Two day watercolour workshop, suitable for artists of all levels. Sponsored by Daler-Rowney, a kit of artist’s quality watercolour materials will be provided free to participants and will include paints, brushes and paper. The intention, weather permitting, will be to combine studio and outdoor working to explore all aspects of successful watercolour painting and sketching.
