"A regular series of art lessons... of course"

Watercolour Courses with Stephen Martyn

Art lessons in watercolour painting

An art course is usually a regular event, often a term similar to school terms, with a session each week. Over the years I have tutored many watercolour courses on a weekly basis, particularly at West Norfolk Arts Centre, Castle Rising. However, nothing is for ever and the Arts Centre no longer runs regular courses and I have retired from travelling to tutor weekly terms of art lessons.

However, that doesn't mean that I no longer tutor painting and drawing courses, I am still available for those who wish to come to my studio for a series of art lessons. These can now be arranged at a date and time to suit you and I, and may be weekly or more usually every few weeks, whatever is convenient.

At the Dersingham studio I can accommodate from one to four students in a session and we can concentrate on whatever aspect of your art you wish to focus on. Perhaps you need help with drawing, or you find colour mixing tricky. Or maybe it's those big Norfolk skies, which need careful handling with wet into wet paint. Whatever you need help with, I can give you the benefit of my twenty plus years experience as an artist and art tutor.

The cost of the course depends on the number of participants. Obviously the more who take part, the cheaper it is per person, but even one to one tuition is affordable. You can find more information about costs here.
